Whitefield cyber crime police have arrested four individuals from Maharashtra following raids on two SIM box centers in Bengaluru. During the operation, authorities seized a total of 10 SIM box devices. Preliminary investigations indicate that these centers were operating under a single criminal network. The network is suspected to be linked to digital arrests, sextortion, and online investment frauds occurring across the country. The raids were conducted based on a complaint filed by the chief nodal officers of Bharti Airtel Limited in Bengaluru, who alleged the illegal use of Airtel SIM cards in the Whitefield and Kadugodi areas.
